The 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year, Carol Price-Torok, a former UTSA assistant coach, is in her first season in 2022 as UTSA's head coach after spending the last six years as the head coach at Bradley.

Price-Torok returns to the Alamo City after spending the last six years as the head coach at Bradley. The 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Coach of the Year led the Braves to 85 wins, three conference tournaments and the 2021 National Invitational Volleyball Championship Sweet 16.

Price-Torok took over a Bradley program which won 30 MVC games in 10 years combined and led the Braves to 53 league victories and an 85-90 (.486) overall record in her six seasons.
She mentored nine first-team All-MVC selections, a 2020 AVCA All-Region Outside Hitter, the 2021 Setter of the Year, one MVC Freshman of the Year, 16 MVC scholar-athletes, one MVC Volleyball Scholar-Athlete of the Year, five CoSIDA Academic All-District honorees and four State Farm MVC Good Neighbor award winners during her time at Bradley.
Prior to Bradley, Price-Torok spent eight seasons as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Arkansas where she helped the Razorbacks to back-to-back NCAA Tournament bids in 2012 and 2013.
Individually, Arkansas produced four All-Americans, five all-region picks and eight all-SEC selections during her tenure.
Before her time in Fayetteville, Price-Torok spent two seasons (2006 and 2007) as an assistant coach at UTSA where she coached two first-team All-Southland Conference players.
Price-Torok started her coaching career in 2005 at Southwestern where the Pirates were named the SCAC Conference Champions and earned a NCAA Division III Tournament bid.
During her collegiate career at Texas A&M, she was part of four consecutive NCAA Tournament teams and started her final two years at outside hitter after playing middle blocker her freshman and sophomore seasons. The team's 2003 offensive MVP, Price-Torok was selected as Big 12 Player of the Week twice during her senior year and was a second-team Big 12 Scholar-Athlete. She also helped the Aggies to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2001, along with a Sweet 16 appearance in 2003.
