Reached the doubles semifinal at the fall 2023 ITA South Region Championships in Fort Worth with partner Garrett Skelly, moving through pairs from UIW, Texas A&M, Baylor and Texas Tech before falling to TCU’s pair.
2022-23 (Junior)
Helped UTSA to its highest ranking in program history (No. 32) and a final ranking of 44th in his first season at UTSA… part of the team that propelled the Roadrunners to their best record since 1985 (18-7) and the program’s first NCAA At-Large bid, he finished the season with a 9-7 record on singles courts six and five … playing with three different partners, registered a record of 9-7 in doubles play and a 4-2 mark on court two, while also logging a 7-6 record when playing with Garrett Skelly … earned a notable ranked singles win over Rice and doubles over Old Dominion, helping UTSA to an NCAA-leading 14-match win streak.
Prior to UTSA
Attended Auburn for two season in 2020-21 and 2021-22 before returning to hometown San Antonio … Across two fall campaigns, went 10-3 in singles play … also captured fall victories that include: doubles title at the 2021 Bulldog Invitational and the doubles title at the 2020 Tiger Fall Invitational … redshirting his first spring season due to injury, returned to action in 2021-22 with a 3-2 record in singles, charting wins against Indiana, Alabama State and Alabama A&M … logged a 2-3 doubles record with partner Raul Dobai – including a 7-6 (5) doubles point clinch in the NCAA Tournament win over Texas Tech … named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll, SEC Academic Honor Roll, was an ITA Scholar-Athlete and an 2021-22 SEC Community Service Team member … Hailing originally from San Antonio and an honor student at Laurel Springs School, trained with FIT HP Tennis Academy and was rated as the No. 3 prospect out of Texas (Blue Chip) and a top-20 recruit nationally with a serve clocked at 115 mph ... registered a high ITF of 283 and high UTR of 12.88, earning four ITF doubles titles with three wins over top-100 players – while building up a 14-match win streak.
