Roadrunners to face No. 54 FAU on Thursday

SAN ANTONIO- The UTSA men's tennis team will hit the road for a pair in Boca Raton, traveling to face the No. 54 FAU on Thursday at 11 a.m. before facing Cleveland State on Friday at 9 a.m.
 
UTSA (7-6) is coming off a pair of losses over the weekend, falling to the No. 49 Charlotte and No.39 SMU played at the UTSA Tennis Center.
 
A highpoint for the Roadrunners this past weekend was the doubles pair Joao Ceolin (Palotina, Brazil) and Javier Gonzalez (San Fernando, Chile) bested the No. 78 doubles team Stefanos Savva and Coy Simon of Charlotte, winning 6-3 on court 1.
 
In singles, freshman Tiago Torres (Libson, Portugal) leads the Roadrunners with 9 victories midway through the season.
 
FAU is 9-3 as they come off a loss against the No.37 San Diego last week.
 
Cleveland State is 5-7, with their last match ending in a win against Holy Cross on March 3rd.
