SAN ANTONIO – Steven Dressler struck out seven, while UTSA's offense belted three home runs en route to an 11-2 victory over Marshall in game two of the Conference USA series on Saturday at Roadrunner Field.

Dressler (3-1), who retired the first 11 batters of the game, allowed only five hits and a run over 6.2 innings.

Meanwhile, Trent Bowles, Ben Brookover and Dylan Rock all hit homers in the win.

Brookover hit a solo shot that started a three-run fourth inning and led to the Roadrunners (10-10, 2-2 C-USA) jumping out to a 5-0 advantage.

Two innings later, the Birds plated five runs, including two on Bowles' blast over the left-field wall.

Rock followed in the seventh with a solo homer to give UTSA an 11-1 advantage.

Bryan Arias collected three hits, scored three runs and drove in two to help lead the offensive charge. Rock also scored three times, while Bowles had three RBIs and Brookover tallied a pair of knocks.

Thundering Herd (11-8, 1-4 C-USA) starter Brad O'Connor (2-3) picked up the loss, as the right-hander yielded five runs (four earned) on three hits in 3.2 innings.
