SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will compete for the second time in six days when it travels to Stillwater, Okla., for Saturday's 74th annual Cowboys Jamboree.

The oldest cross country meet in the nation will be run at the OSU Cross Country Course and the women's 6,000-meter race is scheduled for 9:15 a.m.

Abilene Christian, Adams State, Drury, Incarnate Word, Indiana, Missouri Southern, Nebraska-Kearney, New Mexico State, North Texas, Northern Arizona, Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts, Pittsburg State, Southwest Baptist, Texas A&M-Commerce, TCU, Texas-Permian Basin, Tulsa, UMKC and Western State will join UTSA in the 21-team field.

The Roadrunners won their third consecutive team championship on Monday morning at the Southland Pre-Conference meet in Nacogdoches. Led by sophomore Nina Herrera's seventh-place finish, UTSA scored 47 points to easily defeat runner-up McNeese State. Herrera clocked a 23:11.67 on the 6,000 meter loop and led five UTSA runners that placed in the top 12. The El Paso native now has been as the team's top finisher in the last four meets dating back to last fall's NCAA South Central Regional.
