Medrano paces Roadrunners at Notre Dame Invitational
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Mike Medrano led UTSA for the third consecutive meet at Friday's Notre Dame Invitational.
The junior from Mission covered the five-mile course in 27:12.8 and crossed the finish line in 93rd place. Nolawie Teshome was one spot behind his teammate in 94th following his 27:13.7 performance, while Nathan Collier placed 96th in 27:18.4. Harvinder Singh (106th/27:27.9) and Tony Jaramillo (147th/28:15.6) rounded out the squad's scorers.
The Roadrunners finished 11th among the 15 Division I teams that competed in the gold division race with 490 points.
UTSA will return to action next Saturday, Oct. 12, at the UIW Cardinals Invitational.
