Roadrunners to return to action on Saturday

SAN ANTONIO —
UTSA will compete for the second time in six days when it travels to
Stillwater, Okla., for Saturday's 74th annual Cowboys Jamboree.
The oldest cross country meet in the
nation will be run at the OSU Cross Country Course and the men's 8,000-meter race is scheduled for 9:45 a.m.
Abilene Christian, Adams State, Arkansas, Drury, East Central, Eastern New Mexico, Friends, Indiana, Iowa Central Community College, Missouri Southern, Nebraska-Kearney, New Mexico State, North Texas, Northern Arizona, Oklahoma Baptist, Oklahoma Christian, Oklahoma State, Oral Roberts, Pittsburg State, TCU, Texas A&M-Commerce, Texas Wesleyan, Texas-Permian Basin, Tulsa, UMKC, Wayland Baptist and Western State will join UTSA in the 28-team field.
Senior Cole Reveal was named Southland Conference Athlete of the Week on Tuesday. Led by his third-place finish, the Roadrunners won their third
consecutive team championship on Monday morning at the Southland
Pre-Conference meet in Nacogdoches. The Frisco native
covered the 8,000-meter course in 26:00.55 and was the second
collegian to cross the finish line. It marked his third
consecutive top-three finish to open the 2011 campaign.
