WACO — Junior Cole Reveal finished in 22nd place to pace the UTSA men's cross country team at Saturday's NCAA South Central Regional. His all-region performance helped lead the Roadrunners to a ninth-place finish in the team standings.

The Frisco native covered the Cottonwood Creek Golf Course 10,000-meter trail in 31:01.06 to top UTSA for the second meet in a row. Junior Albert Cardenas (32nd/31:21.5) was the next Roadrunner to cross the line and he was followed by sophomore Jim Stitt, who finished 45th in 31:39.4.

UTSA accounted for 216 points en route to its ninth-place finish and the Roadrunners were just one mark behind eighth-place Stephen F. Austin.

TCU's Festus Kigen won the meet's individual championship in 30:11.1, while Arkansas successfully defended its team title with 30 points after seeing its five scorers all finish 13th or better. Texas was second with 66 points and it will join the Razorbacks at the national meet.
