NEW ORLEANS, La. — The UTSA men's cross country program was one of 147 teams that earned All-Academic accolades from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Wednesday.

The Roadrunners posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 last fall and were one of just two Southland Conference programs recognized (Lamar was the other).

Wisconsin was tabbed the Scholar Team of the Year, while Tennessee-Chattanooga reported the nation’s highest GPA (3.81).

To qualify, teams must have had a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or better and started at least five runners at their respective NCAA regional championship meet.
