Snyder named Southland Goalkeeper of the Week on Tuesday
FRISCO — Sophomore Danielle Snyder was named Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for the second consecutive week, the league office announced on Tuesday. It marks the third time she has earned the circuit’s weekly award this season.
The Buda native helped lead the Roadrunners to a win and a draw last week, which clinched the program's sixth consecutive berth in the Southland Tournament. Snyder allowed just one goal in 200 minutes of play while recording six saves.
She improved to 5-0-2 overall and 3-0-1 in Southland play with her third shutout of the season on Sunday against McNeese State.
UTSA will close out the regular season this weekend with matches at Nicholls and Southeastern Louisiana.
