SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will look to return to its winning ways this weekend when it hosts Idaho and Seattle in a pair of pivotal Western Athletic Conference (WAC) matches at the Convocation Center. The Roadrunners will match up with Vandals at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday before squaring off with the Redhawks at 7 p.m. two days later.

UTSA (13-8, 6-5 WAC), which is in a three-way tie for fourth place in the league standings, is coming off a five-set loss at I-35 rival Texas State last Saturday. Junior McKenzie Adams netted her team-leading 13th double-double with a match-high 20 kills and 13 digs, while junior Brandy Huskey handed out 55 assists and guided the Birds to a .231 hitting percentage.

Adams ranks third in the league with 4.01 kills and 4.53 points per frame, while Huksey sits in second with 10.33 assists per stanza. UTSA leads the conference in assists (12.77) and kills (13.88) per set.

Freshman Annie Kunes continues to lead the WAC with 4.73 digs per panel, while the Roadrunners rank fifth in the nation with 18.27 stops per frame.

Idaho (10-11, 8-3 WAC), which is tied for second in the league, enters Thursday's contest having won seven of its last eight tilts, including a four-set victory at San Jose State last Saturday. Allison Walker leads the WAC in kills (4.34) and points (4.86) per set, while Janelle Chow ranks second in the conference with 4.32 digs per panel.

Seattle (7-14, 2-9 WAC), which plays at Texas State on Thursday night, sits in ninth in the WAC and it has lost eight of their last nine matches, including three consecutive sweeps. Seattle leads the league in with 1.27 service aces per set, while Kaytlyn Dill tops all players with 0.41 aces per panel.

Thursday marks the fourth meeting between the Roadrunners and the Vandals with Idaho holding a 2-1 advantage in the all-time series, including a four-set victory on Sept. 29 in Moscow, Idaho.

Meanwhile, UTSA and the Redhawks will be meeting for the second time. The Roadrunners posted a four-set win at Seattle on Sept. 27.
