West Division Champion Roadrunners to open Southland Tournament play on Tuesday

SAN ANTONIO — The West Division Champion and No. 4 seed UTSA women’s basketball team (15-14) will open the State Farm Southland Conference Tournament with fifth-seeded Sam Houston State (17-13) at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This is the 11th consecutive appearance in the postseason tournament for the Roadrunners, who have made the field every year under head coach Rae Rippetoe-Blair.
