UTSA to travel to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for Thursday contest
SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will travel to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4-2) for a 7 p.m. matchup on Thursday at American Bank Center.
The Roadrunners (4-4) are coming off a pair of victories in the UTSA Thanksgiving Classic against Northern Iowa and Norfolk State. Kamra King averaged 17 points in the tournament to claim Tournament Most Valuable Player honors. Miki Turner and Mannasha Bell joined King on the All-Tournament Team.
UTSA leads the overall series with the Islanders, 11-6, including last season’s 52-40 victory in San Antonio. Since dropping the first five games of the head-to-head series, UTSA has won 11 of the past 12 meetings between the two programs.
