SAN ANTONIO — Registration now is open for the Ninth Annual Brooks Thompson Basketball Camps, which are slated for nine days during the month of June at the Convocation Center.

Things will get underway with the two-day Shooting Camp, which teaches basic fundamentals of shooting form, balance, footwork, proper release, shooting off the dribble and using screens, is slated for June 11-12. It is open to boys and girls entering grades 1-12.

The Father & Child Camp is set for June 13-14 and it is designed to provide quality time between the father/guardian and camper and to help them become familiar with the teaching system. It is open to both boys and girls entering grades 1-12 and their father/guardian.

On June 24, Thompson will host the High School Elite Camp, which is open to boys entering grades 9-12 for a one-day, high-intensity skills camp designed to give players the opportunity to develop advanced individual skills and team concepts.

Finally, the annual Day Camp will run from June 25-28. It focuses on fundamentals of the game and is open to boys entering grades 1-12.

There is a 10-percent discount on registration fees for all UTSA staff and faculty. Click here for more information and to register.
