· Tulsa is nestled in the northeastern quadrant of Oklahoma, right in the heart of “Green Country.” The rolling green hills and wooded terrain of the city offers a temperate climate. Tulsans enjoy 227 days of sunshine a year and an average daily temperature of 61 degrees.

· The university's 4,187 students are engaged in 89 major fields of study and graduate programs in 25 disciplines, 10 of which lead to doctoral degrees. Administratively, Tulsa is divided into a graduate school and four colleges: arts and sciences, business administration, engineering and natural sciences and law. The average class size is 20 and the student-to-faculty ratio is 11-to-1.

· Since joining Conference USA, Tulsa has won 49 league championships, which is twice as many as any other school.

· The football program has been ranked among the Top 25 two of the last three seasons and won two Conference USA Championships (2005 & '12) in addition to finishing as runner-up in 2007-08.

· The Golden Hurricane also has earned bowl berths seven of the last eight years and that run includes the 2012 AutoZone Liberty Bowl title.
