SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA volleyball team will host an NCAA Tournament
selection show watch party from 1:30-3 p.m. on Sunday at Stonewerks Big
Rock Grille at The Rim, which is located at 5807 Worth Parkway (click

will be announced live on ESPNews at approximately 2 p.m.
The three-week tournament will begin with first- and second-round play
from Dec. 2-5 at 16 campus sites that will feature four teams each. The
remaining 16 teams then will play from Dec. 9-12 in four-team regionals
held in Austin, Dayton, Ohio, Seattle, Wash., and University Park, Pa. The four regional champions will travel to the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., for the NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship. The national semifinals will take
place on Dec. 16, followed by the National
Championship Match two days later.
The Roadrunners (22-11) earned the Southland Conference's automatic bid
to the NCAA Tournament last weekend. UTSA defeated McNeese State (3-2), Lamar (3-0) and
regular-season champion Central Arkansas (3-2) to advance to the NCAA
Tournament for the second time in the program's 28-year history (first since 2000).
