Roadrunners to travel to Metroplex for pair of weekend contests
SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will begin a season-ending four-match road trip this weekend with a pair of matches at No. 67 North Texas and SMU.
The Roadrunners (10-7) will play the Mean Green at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Waranch Tennis Complex before facing the Mustangs at noon the following day at the Turpin Tennis Center.
UTSA closed out its spring home schedule on Thursday afternoon with a sweep over former Southland Conference foe Lamar, which extended its winning streak to five matches.

Meanwhile, Junger stretched her unbeaten streak to a half dozen outings, while Isabelle Jonsson, who was honored as part of Senior Day festivities prior to the match, ran hers to five.
North Texas (8-10) was swept by UT Arlington on Wednesday and the Mean Green now has dropped its last two after winning three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, SMU (7-11) picked up its sixth win in the last nine matches after edging Middle Tennessee on Thursday, 4-3. Yana Erkeeva and Dasha Sharapova both lead the Mustangs with 11 singles wins this spring.
