RUSTON, La. — Louisiana Tech blanked UTSA, 4-0, in a Western Athletic Conference (WAC) match on Sunday at the Louisiana Tech Tennis Complex.

The Roadrunners (5-9, 0-3 WAC) lost their fourth consecutive match after the Lady Techsters (10-4, 5-1 WAC) picked up all four of their points in singles competition.

Taly Merker clinched the match for Louisiana Tech at the fifth position with a 6-0, 6-4 win against Miranda Poile.

Two of the singles matches went unfinished due to rain. Doubles play also was cancelled due to the inclement weather.

UTSA will begin a three-match home stand against Idaho (6-8, 0-1 WAC) on Friday, April 5.
