SAN ANTONIO — UTSA returns to the course on Saturday for its second meet of the fall when it travels to Seguin for the TLU Invitational. The 5,000-meter race is scheduled to get underway at 9:30 a.m. on the campus of Texas Lutheran University.

A total of 65 runners will participate in the meet and athletes from Concordia Texas, Prairie View A&M, Schreiner, Texas A&M International and Texas A&M-Kingsville will join the Roadrunners.

UTSA opened its 2012 campaign last Saturday with a dual meet at Texas. The Roadrunners lost by just one point and sophomore Mike Medrano was the team’s top finisher in fourth place

UTSA welcomes back eight letterwinners from last year's squad that finished second in the Southland Conference. The Roadrunners went on to post their best finish, fifth, in 14 years at the NCAA South Central Regional.

Seniors Daniel Balbontin and Ivan Garcia lead a roster that also features three juniors, five sophomores and four freshmen.
