UTSA to face Baylor on Tuesday night

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will play its final non-conference game of the regular season on Tuesday when it heads north to face Baylor. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

The Roadrunners (31-21) are coming off last weekend's series loss to No. 14 Rice. UTSA earned the win Friday night in the series opener, 4-2, before dropping the successive weekend contests. Logan Kinder provided the seminal moment for the Birds in the series with a two-run inside-the-park home run in the seventh inning of Friday’s win.

Baylor (22-27), currently residing in seventh place in the Big 12, took two out of three games from Oklahoma in its last action back on the weekend of May 2-4.The Bears own a 30-6 edge in the all-time series with UTSA, but the two teams have alternated wins in the past six meetings.
