SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will finish a four-game road trip on Tuesday when it travels to Houston Baptist for a 3 p.m. contest at Husky Field.

UTSA (26-14) will be looking to end a season-long two-game losing streak and even the season series the Huskies (17-19), who got a two-run home run in the 13th inning from Michael Chamberlain to win a 9-7 contest on Feb. 19 at Roadrunner Field.

The Roadrunners own a 6-3 edge in the all-time series and had won five straight before the February setback.

Entering Tuesday’s contest the Roadrunners have the 19th best team ERA in the country at 2.62. Right-hander Boone Mokry (1-1, 3.26 ERA) is the expected starter for the Birds, while Houston Baptist will counter with lefty Matthew McCollough (1-1, 4.91 ERA).

Jordan McCoy, Curtis Jones, and Josh Martinez have led the Huskies at the plate with each hitting over .340 and scoring at least 20 runs. HBU's .295 team batting average ranks second in the Southland Conference.
