SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA baseball program will host its inaugural Former Players Weekend the weekend of Nov. 8-9 with a host of activities designed to honor the men who have worn the Roadrunners uniform.

The activities begin at noon on Friday, Nov. 8, with a block of tee times set aside at Fair Oaks Ranch Golf and Country Club. Later that evening at 6:30 p.m., former players are asked to bring out their old bat for batting practice at Roadrunner Field, aka "The Bird Bath."

On Saturday, the program will provide food and sponsor a tailgate for former players and their families beginning at 8 a.m. prior to the UTSA football game against Tulane. Former players will receive one free ticket to the game with additional tickets available for $17 apiece.
