Roadrunners to wrap up regular season against Central Arkansas

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will wrap up its regular season this weekend with a crucial three-game series against Central Arkansas at Roadrunner Field. The first two contests will be played at 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, while Saturday's finale is slated to start at 2 p.m.
UTSA (24-29, 14-16 SLC) is coming off an 8-5 win at Houston on Tuesday. The Roadrunners used three two-run homers to sweep the season series with the Cougars for the first time in program history.
The Bears (23-27, 12-18 SLC) are two games behind UTSA in the league standings and they have won three of their last four contests, including taking two of three tilts from Sam Houston State last weekend.
UTSA holds an 8-3 advantage in the all-time series, which includes wins in five of the last six meetings.
