UTSA, Texas State to renew I-35 rivalry this weekend

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA (24-20, 8-9 WAC) will host I-35 rival Texas State (21-23, 11-7 WAC) in a Western Athletic Conference series this weekend at Roadrunner Field. The three-game set opens at 6 p.m. on Friday, continues at 2 p.m. the following day and Sunday's finale is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The two teams separated by just 55 miles have met 78 times and the Bobcats have won 11 of the last 12 matchups, giving them a commanding 49-28 advantage in the all-time series.
