Rain postpones second round of Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Heavy rains on Saturday have postponed the second round of Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship at Cherokee Country Club (par 71/5,897 yards). The second round now will be played on Sunday and it will be the final 18 holes of the tournament.
UTSA is tied with Missouri for 15th place after carding a 299 on Friday. Individually, Taylor Newlin and Libby Thomas both registered 74s and are tied for 44th to lead the Roadrunners.
South Carolina leads the field after recording a five-under 279, followed by Arkansas (282), Louisville (283), Tennessee (285) and UCF (286).
