Roadrunners to tee off at NCAA Central Regional on Thursday

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will open play at the NCAA Central Regional on Thursday. The three-day tournament, which will be played at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club (par 72/6,298 yards) in Norman, Okla., tees off on Thursday.

After earning the school’s first-ever at-large bid to an NCAA postseason event in any sport, the Roadrunners will be appearing in their third consecutive regional. In their first two appearances, the Birds finished in 16th and 20th place.

The event features 16 teams ranked in’s top 50 with No. 3 Duke and No. 4 Oklahoma leading the pack.

· Her career 76.44 stroke average ranks third in program history
