SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will host Laredo Community College at 3 p.m. on Friday at the UTSA Tennis Center.
The Roadrunners (8-9) have won two of their last three outings, including a 4-3 decision last Saturday against New Mexico State.
Sophomore Yannick Junger provided the clinching point in the match with the Aggies and improved to 11-6 in singles action this spring.
Meanwhile, freshman David Keller continued to impress in his inaugural campaign. The Cooper City, Fla., native has won three consecutive singles matches and is 11-3 this season.
The doubles pairing of juniors Martin Ayala and Tyler Brown are 8-6 overall.
The Palominos enter Friday's contest with a 4-3 record and they have won their last two matches. Laredo CC knocked off Cameron, 6-3, in its last outing on March 17. The Palominos dropped two of three doubles matchups but came back to claim five of the six singles tilts.
The two clubs last met on Jan. 29, 2011, with Laredo leaving the Alamo City with a 5-2 victory.
