SAN ANTONIO — UTSA returns to the friendly confines of the Alamo City when it hosts UMBC at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Roadrunners (6-8) split a pair of contests during last week's road trip to North Carolina.

UTSA started the week with a 5-2 victory at Elon last Wednesday before falling to No. 33 UNC Wilmington, 5-2, four days later.

Junior Martin Ayala won both of his single tilts last week, while sophomore Yannick Junger, who is a team-best 9-5 this spring, was triumphant against the Seahawks on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the duo of Ayala and junior Tyler Brown own an 8-6 mark in doubles action to pace the Roadrunners.

The Retrievers (5-6) snapped a five-match losing streak last Friday with a sweep of Howard.
