PORTLAND, Ore. — The UTSA men's tennis team used a balanced effort to record a 7-0 victory against Seattle on Friday evening at the Louisiana-Pacific Tennis Center.

The Roadrunners (7-5) recorded their third sweep of the season against the Redhwaks (2-10).

Junior Daniel Moser quickly disposed of Simon Meske, dropping only one game, in a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 5 singles. Senior Daniel Moreiras and sophomores Martin Ayala and Tyler Brown also notched straight-sets wins.

Freshman Yannick Junger overcame a first-set loss to defeat Andrew Anderson (2-6, 6-3, 6-2) at the No. 2 position, while junior Pedro Zanotelli split the first two sets but rebounded to win his match at No. 6 singles to complete the sweep.

The Roadrunners will continue their weekend in the Pacific Northwest with a 5 p.m. (CT) match on Saturday against Montana (3-3).
