SAN ANTONIO — UTSA cruised to a 4-0 victory against Utah State on Friday afternoon at the UTSA Tennis Center.

The Roadrunners (11-9, 2-0 WAC) swept all three doubles tilts and then picked up three wins in singles competition to clinch the contest.

Martin Ayala and Diogo Casa notched an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles to improve to 14-3 this spring.

Meanwhile, Casa, Joel Rubio and David Kelleher all netted victories in singles action to finish off the shutout against the Aggies (5-11, 0-1 WAC).

Casa and Kelleher both improved to 12-7 on the season, while Rubio captured his ninth win on the year and fourth in his last six outings.

UTSA will return to action on Sunday, April 14, when it hosts Denver (5-11, 1-0 WAC). First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m.
