SAN ANTONIO — Head men's golf coach John Knauer announced Tuesday his program's 2014-15 schedule. The slate is highlighted by a pair of annual home tournaments and trips to at least five other states.

The Roadrunners will play five fall events beginning with a trip to Hattiesburg, Miss., for the Sam H. Hall Intercollegiate on Sept. 8-9. UTSA then will compete in the Mark Simpson-Colorado Invitational on Sept. 29-30 at Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colo.

The Birds will head to Vestavia Hills, Ala., for the Jerry Pate National Invitational on Oct. 6-7 and to Bryan for the Sam Houston State/Rice Miramont Invitational on Oct. 13-14 before closing out the fall campaign at Price's "Give 'Em Five" Invitational on Oct. 24-26 in El Paso.

UTSA opens its spring slate by hosting the 16th annual UTSA Oak Hills Invitational on Feb. 9-10 at Oak Hills Country Club. The Roadrunners then will play three straight road tournaments starting with the Bayou City Collegiate Championship on Feb. 20-22 at the Golf Club of Houston, the annual site of the PGA TOUR's Shell Houston Open. UTSA also has dates scheduled for March 9-10 at the Louisiana Classics in Lafayette and March 13-14 at the Border Olympics in Laredo.

The Birds will host the sixth annual Lone Star Invitational at Briggs Ranch Golf Club on March 23-24 before traveling to Scottsdale, Ariz., for the Wyoming Cowboy Classic on April 6-7 at Talking Stick Golf Club.

The Conference USA Championship is tentatively scheduled for April 26-28 at a site to be announced later this summer. Six NCAA Regionals will be held on May 14-16 and the NCAA Championship is slated for May 25-30 at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla.
