ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Led by an opening-day 151 (77-74) from Brett Hogan, UTSA is in 17th place after the first two rounds of this weekend's William H. Tucker Intercollegiate, which is being played at UNM Championship Course (par 72/7,562 yards).

Hogan fought back from an opening-round 77 to post a 74 on the strength of four birdies and an eagle three on the par-five 14th on a windy day that saw only six of the 104 players break par through 36 holes. The sophomore from Calgary, Alberta, is in a seven-way tie for 33rd place with 18 holes remaining.

Bryce Alley and Garrison Lackey each carded a pair of 79s and they are tied for 73rd, while J.J. Lindsey and Ryan Were are in 82nd (77-83—160) and 93rd (83-80—163), respectively.

The Roadrunners recorded a 312 in both rounds and are one shot behind Wyoming and two behind UT Arlington. Arizona State leads the field after posting a five-under 571 (284-287), followed by New Mexico (582), BYU (591), UNLV (593) and USC (593). TCU's Julien Brun and Arizona State's Jon Rahm are tied for the individual lead at four-under-par.

The final round will tee off at 8:45 a.m. (CT) on Saturday.
