UTSA men to play at Border Olympics this weekend

SAN ANTONIOThe UTSA men’s golf team will head to Laredo to compete against 18 other teams, including four that are ranked, at the Border Olympics. The two-day event hosted by the University of Houston is scheduled to begin on Friday morning at Laredo Country Club (par 72/7,125 yards). The Roadrunners, who have not competed since Feb. 21-22, are coming off their top spring finish at the Rice Intercollegiate.

Format: Two-day event; 54-hole tournament (36 on Friday/18 on Saturday)

· Leads the Roadrunners with a 74.71 stroke average for 2010-11
