SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA men's and women's track & field teams will open their indoor campaign on Saturday when they compete at the Texas A&M Reveille Invitational. All the action is scheduled to get underway at 3 p.m. at Gilliam Indoor Track & Field Stadium in College Station.

The Roadrunners will compete against athletes from the host Aggies, along with Houston and TCU. Twelve events will be contested (60m/200m/800m/mile/5k/60m hurdles/1,600m relay/high jump/pole vault/long jump/shot put/weight throw) at the scored meet.

The women will send 23 athletes to the one-day meet, while the men will be represented by 20.

UTSA is making the move to Conference USA this season, which will be its third league in the last three seasons (2013 Western Athletic/2012 Southland).

After Saturday, the Roadrunners will not be in action again until Jan. 11 at the Houston Opener. UTSA is scheduled to compete at a total of six meets this season before heading to their first-ever C-USA Championships in Birmingham, Ala. (Feb. 28-March 1). The NCAA Championships are scheduled for March 14-15 in Albuquerque, N.M.
