SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will close out a stretch of three consecutive road games on Saturday when it travels to San Marcos for a 2 p.m. matchup with I-35 rival Texas State.

The Roadrunners (9-8, 3-3 WAC) won the first two games of the road swing last week at UT Arlington and Louisiana Tech and, when coupled with their Dec. 31 triumph at San Jose State, now have three consecutive victories away from the Alamo City for the first time since the 2008-09 season.

Sophomore Kamra King led UTSA last week by averaging 19.5 points, eight rebounds and 3.5 steals. She scored a career-high 23 points against the Mavericks last Thursday and then notched a game-high 16, including the game-winning basket, against the Lady Techsters two days later.
