ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Senior Eboni Johnson was tabbed Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Johnson was victorious in the triple jump for the second consecutive week at last Friday's Leonard Hilton Memorial in Houston. She skipped to a measurement of 39-11 ¼ (12.17m), which was a four-inch improvement from last weekend's winning mark at the Texas A&M 12-Team Invitational. The Channelview native, who owns the WAC's leading measurement this season, defeated Texas Southern's Terralyn Johnson by more than a foot for the second meet title of her career.

The Roadrunners return to the Bayou City this weekend for the Howie Ryan Invitational & Multis. The two-day meet is scheduled to get underway on Friday.
