HOUSTON — The UTSA women's track & field team, led by a quartet of top-three performances, recorded 15 season bests at Saturday's J. Fred Duckett Twilight, which was contests at Rice's Holloway Field and Ley Track.

Sophomores Jamieé Bennett and Zaquita McClanahan both picked up silver medals in throwing events.

Bennett added two feet, five inches to her previous PR in the discus with her 149-7 (45.60m) measurement, which was her third consecutive runner-up performance in her speciality event. McClanahan, meanwhile, put the shot 46-5 ½ (14.16m).

Freshman Krystal Wynn finished as the top collegian (third overall) when she recorded a 19-7 (5.97m) measurement in the first long jump competition of her career. That mark is good for third in the league standings.

Senior Taelor Wilson posted the Roadrunners' other top-three performance following her third-place effort in the hammer (155-1/47.27m).

Freshman Samantha Fish shaved more than 16-and-a-half seconds off her previous career best in the 3,000m steeplechase when she placed fourth in 11:12.11. The time ranks second on the program's all-time performer's chart and currently stands fifth in the Southland rankings.

UTSA will be back in action next Saturday, April 30, at the Bobcats Invitational in San Marcos.
