SAN ANTONIO — Whitney Flannel led a parade of six gold-medal performances for UTSA at Friday's Roadrunners Invitational.

Flannel registered her third victory of the season in the high jump with her career-best clearance of 5-10 ½ (1.79m). That added a half inch to her previous personal record and she now stands second on the program's all-time performers chart.

Ernestine Cray skipped to a measurement of 40-6 ¼ (12.35m) in a winning effort in the triple jump for the squad's other field event victory.

Meanwhile, UTSA racked up four winning performances in the evening's running events.

Alexus Daniels crossed the line first in the 200 meters with a wind-aided PR of 24.51, while Evelyn Clark circled the Park West Athletics Complex oval in 55.48 en route to gold in the quarter.

Stephanie Wangui was victorious in the 800m for the second time this spring following her time of 2:12.49 and Brook WIlson picked up her first career win the 400m hurdles with a PR of 1:02.33.

UTSA will take next weekend off before traveling to Houston for the Conference USA Championships. The four-day meet is scheduled to begin on Thursday, May 15.
