SAN ANTONIO — There still are plenty of tailgate tickets available for Saturday's football game at Rice. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. at Rice Stadium in Houston.

The tailgate party, sponsored by the UTSA Alumni Association, begins at 11:30 a.m. and will last until a half hour before kickoff near Stadium Gate 3 (look for the UTSA tents and flags). Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 children (12 and under) and there is no charge to park at Rice Stadium (enter through Stadium Road and Rice Boulevard). Admission includes a James Coney Island combo meal (chili cheese coney or veggie dog, chips and drink), games, door prizes and a visit with UTSA President Dr. Ricardo Romo, Athletics Director Lynn Hickey, the UTSA Pep Band and the Roadrunners' National Championship Cheer Squad.
