BRISTOL, Conn. — ESPN announced Monday that it will broadcast UTSA's Oct. 20 Homecoming game against San Jose State on ESPN3. Kickoff for the Roadrunners' first-ever Western Athletic Conference (WAC) home contest is slated for 1 p.m. at the Alamodome.

ESPN3 is ESPN’s live multi-screen sports network, a 24/7 destination that delivers thousands of global sports events annually and accessible online here, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app and through ESPN on Xbox LIVE to Gold level members. It is currently available to 73 million homes at no additional cost to fans who receive their high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated service provider. The network also is available at no cost to approximately 21 million United States college students and U.S.-based military personnel via computers connected to on-campus educational networks and on-base military networks.

UTSA is riding a six-game winning streak dating back to last season and enters this Saturday's date with Rice at 5-0 overall after defeating New Mexico State, 35-14, in the program's first WAC game on Sept. 29.
