“We are excited to have 'UTSA Football Insider' airing again on FOX Sports Southwest and CSN Houston along with a local station for the first time,” Roadrunners Sports Properties General Manager Eric Williamson said. “The show supplies UTSA fans with behind-the-scenes access while giving our corporate partners great visibility on a local and regional platform. This coverage helps to shape and strengthen our brand and gives viewers a chance to get to know what UTSA is all about.”
“This will be our second year airing UTSA football on San Antonio’s CW 35," KMYS-TV General Manager Dean Radla said. "The addition of 'UTSA Football Insider' to our sports programming lineup is right in line with our local sports strategy."
The Roadrunners will kick off the season at 8 p.m. on Friday at Houston in the first-ever game at the brand new TDECU Stadium and the contest will be televised nationally on ESPNU. UTSA's home opener is slated for 7 p.m. next Thursday, Sept. 4, against Arizona.
