SAN ANTONIO — After playing three of its opening four games away from the Alamo City, UTSA will wrap up its non-conference schedule on Saturday when it returns to the friendly confines of the Alamodome to face Houston (3-0). The opening contest of a home-and-home series between the two programs is scheduled to kick off at 3 p.m. The teams will open the 2014 campaign on Aug. 30 at the brand new Houston Football Stadium.

The Roadrunners (2-2) are coming off last Saturday’s 32-13 victory at UTEP in their inaugural Conference USA tilt. The win was the program’s second straight against a team from the state of Texas and UTSA now owns a 3-3 all-time record in such contests. It also improved the Roadrunners’ all-time mark to 5-7 following a loss.
