Packet pickup/course inspection
Coaches can pick up packets at the team parking area. Packet pickup and
course inspection will be from 4-6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2. Per UIL
instructions, teams will not be allowed to enter the site prior to 4
p.m. to discourage teams from taking kids out of class early. Packet pickup for Saturday, Nov. 3, will be at
the times listed in the meet schedule below.
Fees
The individual athlete fee will be $20 per runner up to seven runners and the maximum entry fee per team will be $140 for 7, 8, 9 or 10 athleties entered. Please pay prior to or on race day, make checks payable to the
UTSA ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT and mail to
UTSA ATHLETICS BUSINESS OFFICE, ONE UTSA CIRCLE, SAN ANTONIO, TX 78249. If the district chair is paying for multiple teams or
individuals, please list the names of the schools and the amount for
each school on the check, check stub or attached sheet.
District results
The district chairperson is responsible for faxing the UIL district results form (click
here to download). If your teams or any individuals qualified for the regional meet, we strongly suggest that you make sure this form was filed. The form should be faxed to (210) 458-4813.
Entry information
The deadline to submit entries is
3 P.M. ON MONDAY, OCT. 29. Entries must be certified at the district level and each individual school must send in their entries to
Direct Athletics.
PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON THE DISTRICT CHAIRPERSON TO DO THIS. The reason we have this rule is that the district chairperson will not have a list of your alternates on the result sheets. You may enter 10 but only can run seven. The 10 that you enter must be certified and be eligible by UIL rules. At packet pick up you must declare your seven runners. The seven that compete must come from your certified list of 10. We will assign bib numbers and chips to all 10 entries. The three extra numbers and chips are to be returned at the packet pick up area when you declare your seven. If you have any problems with your entries, please contact Assistant Meet Director Lavera Morris at
lavera.morris@utsa.edu.
Entry form instructions
All entry information is to be submitted at Direct Athletics. Click
here to go to their website. Click on the “User Guide & Help” tab if you need help with entries. New coaches may need to contact Direct Athletics at
support@directathletics.com if you are having trouble getting into an account created by the previous coach at your institution.

There will be clerks at the starting line making sure that each chip matches the bib number of the runner. The chips will be given out at packet pickup and be sure to return chips that will not be used at that time.
