Roadrunners, Utah State to meet on Friday afternoon

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will continue Western Athletic Conference (WAC) play on Friday when it hosts Utah State at 1 p.m.

The Roadrunners (10-9, 1-0 WAC) have won two of their last three outings, but they were blanked at No. 72 Rice by a score of 6-0 on Wednesday.

Diogo Casa and David Kelleher own identical 11-7 records to pace UTSA in singles competition, while Casa and Martin Ayala have netted a 13-3 mark at No. 1 doubles.

The Aggies (5-10) enter their first league affair on a three-match losing streak. Utah State dropped a 4-3 decision at Weber State on Wednesday.

Sven Poslusny leads the Aggies with an 8-5 mark in singles action, while Sean Levesque and Fredrik Peterson have registered a 6-3 record in doubles play.
