SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will continue its seven-match road trip on Saturday at No. 54 Old Dominion. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. (CT) at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.

The Roadrunners (6-5) have dropped back-to-back contests after losing to Louisiana-Lafayette last Saturday in the third-place match at the 47th Annual H-E-B Tournament of Champions. The Ragin’ Cajuns swept the three doubles tilts to take an early lead and promptly won three of the four singles matches to clinch the 4-1 victory.

UTSA picked up its lone point at fourth singles when Joel Rubio got past Jarred Wynan.

Diogo Casa leads the Birds with a 7-3 mark in singles action, while the pairing of Casa and Martin Ayala are 9-1 at No. 1 doubles.

Meanwhile, the Monarchs (9-3) will bring a five-match winning streak into the match between future Conference USA foes. Old Dominion has knocked off its last three opponents by identical 6-1 scores.

Carlos Lopez Villa leads the Monarchs with a perfect 12-0 mark at No. 1 singles, while he and teammate Can Cetinel are 9-2 and ranked 58th in the nation in doubles play.
