SAN ANTONIO — UTSA was among 497 women’s programs to earn the National Soccer Coaches Association of America’s (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2011-12 academic year, the organization announced on Thursday.

The Roadrunners, which posted a team GPA of 3.13 in 2011-12, now has been honored the last six years. UTSA saw then-sophomores Anka Grotle and Maria Jose Rojas earn first-team Southland Conference All-Academic honors that season.
