Brad Sternberg was hired in August 2012 as the video coordinator at UTSA. He is responsible for all video operations and he supervises the student video staff.
His day-to-day duties include videotaping every practice and game, editing, setting up video meeting rooms and film exchange.
Sternberg came to UTSA from Montana, where he was the director of video operations for five years. He was in charge of coordinating all opponents’ film, practices and games, along with making weekly motivational tapes for the players.
Sternberg was a freshman offensive lineman in 2006 when Montana posted a 12-2 record and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision Playoffs. He saw his career cut short due to injuries and then took over the video operations department in 2007.
Originally from Helena, Mont., he was an all-state honoree in football as a junior and senior and he also lettered for the wrestling and track & field teams for Helena High School.
Sternberg earned his bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Montana in 2012. His wife, Allison, is a captain in the U.S. Army.
