Richard Campbell joined the UTSA Athletic Medicine staff in 2012. He is an assistant athletic trainer and is responsible for the medical needs for the Roadrunners' volleyball and baseball programs.
He received his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Stephen F. Austin in 2009 and finished his master's in athletic training at SFA two years later. The Temple native was a graduate athletic trainer for the Lumberjacks men’s basketball team.
Prior to coming to UTSA, Campbell worked with the National Football League's Arizona Cardinals for a year. He also has previous summer internship experiences with the Houston Texans and various high schools.
