UTSA, Sam Houston State to meet for third time this season in Southland Tournament semifinals

KATY — Fresh off a thrilling 97-96 come-from-behind victory against second seed Northwestern State on Wednesday, No. 7 seed UTSA (17-13) will face third-seeded Sam Houston State (18-12) for the third time this season in Thursday's State Farm Southland Conference Tournament semifinals. Tip is set for 6 p.m. at the Merrell Center in Katy. The winner will advance to the championship game, which is slated for 3 p.m. on Saturday.
