SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will look to get back on the winning track and avenge last month’s loss to UTEP when it visits the Miners for an 8 p.m. (CT) contest in El Paso on Wednesday night.

The Roadrunners (13-13, 4-9 C-USA) enter the week after bringing down then-third-place East Carolina, 61-60, last Thursday before an 11-point loss to Old Dominion two nights later.

UTEP (21-5, 10-3 C-USA) has won eight of its past nine contests dating back to Jan. 22. Kayla Thornton had a game-high 21 points and 16 rebounds in the 67-56 victory last month in the Alamo City.

The Roadrunners lead the all-time series, 16-8, despite dropping the last two meetings.
